You’ve most likely seen that TV ad for Kars for Kids–K A R S Cars for Kids–and possibly got that annoying jingle stuck in your head. No more. A judge says Cars for Kids can’t broadcast those spots anymore in California because it actually has almost NO programs for underprivileged kids in California and is primarily a charity that funds Oorah, an organization dedicated to Jewish heritage and summer camps in New York and New Jersey, while 25 percent of its revenue comes from California. A man from California sued after he donated an old car, only to find that out. The judge says the ads are misleading, and so have to be pulled within 30 days.
