A traffic stop in south Lake County turned into a major arrest Monday morning. CHP says 49-year-old Greg Harris of Middletown tried to avoid being pulled over on Highway 29 before stopping on private property, where officers detained him. Inside the truck, investigators say they found suspected meth, drug paraphernalia, a loaded AR-15-style rifle, a pistol, and ammunition. Authorities also say Harris had a suspended license, an active felony warrant, and is a convicted felon. He remains jailed on $136,000 bail.
