People in Lake County will get their first chance this morning to hear directly from a company exploring the area for naturally occurring hydrogen. Denver-based Koloma is hosting an open house today from 9am to 7pm at the Silveira Community Center in Lakeport to explain its upcoming survey work and answer community questions. The company says it’s using non-invasive technology to study underground geology linked to the region’s geothermal activity. A second public open house is also scheduled for Thursday.
