A weekend investigation in Ukiah ended with an arrest tied to a parole violation. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office says deputies detained 24-year-old Alexis Navarrete during a parole search connected to an assault case. They say items tied to gang activity were found, putting him in violation of his release terms. Navarrete was taken to jail and is now being held without bail. Deputies say the case is still active as they continue investigating.
