There’s a unique chance to learn more about gray whales along the Sonoma coast this week. A free talk is happening Thursday afternoon at the Sea Ranch Lodge, led by experts who’ve spent decades studying these animals. They’ll break down what’s happening with whale populations and what they’re seeing out in the field. Afterward, you can head out to the bluffs to spot whales yourself, with live jazz and drinks available. The event gets underway at 4pm.
