If you’re interested in local conservation, there’s a chance to learn more about invasive plants in Lake County. The Lake County Weed Management Area is hosting two free tours this year, one focused on grasslands and oak woodlands, the other on wetlands around Clear Lake. The tours will highlight how crews are working to remove invasive species and restore native plants. They’re open to anyone and backed by the county’s agriculture department.
