The Lake County Board of Supervisors is set to officially name the county’s 13th Poet Laureate. Roy Blodgett will step into the prestigious role this April, serving a two-year term that runs through 2028. But the honors don’t stop at the boardroom. A series of community celebrations is being polished up for the public after the official proclamation at next Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors’ meeting, where members will also declare “National Poetry Month. There is a gala celebration Sunday, April 19th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Fore Family Vineyards Tasting Room in Kelseyville. For those who can’t make it in person, an online inauguration is scheduled for Monday, April 20th
