A chance to get rid of any hazardous waste you have hanging around in the garage or shed. Redwood Waste Solutions is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Event on Friday and Saturday at the Willits Transfer Station on Franklin Avenue. They’ll take things like used oil, paint, car batteries, lithium-ion batteries–basically anything that is too toxic to put in the trash. There are some restrictions about quantity, and They WONT take explosives, medical waste, radioactive waste, large propane tanks, or compressed gas cylinders. ITs free, but commercial customers have to make an appointment first.
