Gas prices are still on the rise as global tensions keep pressure on fuel costs. Across California, the average is now $5.84 a gallon, with Sutter County coming in the cheapest at $5.40. Locally, drivers are paying about $5.70 in Mendocino County and $5.77 in Lake County. The highest prices are still in the Eastern Sierra, where Mono County is sitting around $6.58 a gallon.
