A teenage boy is recovering after an accidental shooting in Mendocino County. Dispatch reports say the 15-year-old was hurt Tuesday morning near Robinson Creek Road and was driven to meet medical crews instead of waiting for help to arrive. He suffered a gunshot wound to the groin but was reported to be in stable condition. From there, he was taken by ambulance and then airlifted for further treatment. Investigators are still working to figure out exactly what led to the shooting.
