A longtime community leader is being recognized as Lake County’s Woman of the Year. Congressman Mike Thompson named Voris Brumfield Reed as this year’s honoree. She’s known for years of work in local government and community programs that have helped people across the county. The award is part of Women’s History Month and will be officially recorded in Congress.
