We’re now learning more about a search in Mendocino County that had a good ending. A 71-year-old woman was missing for about three days in a remote forest area before being found last week. The search started after her vehicle was found abandoned, but it was a satellite SOS signal that helped crews zero in on her location. She was found in good spirits and didn’t need medical treatment. After being checked out, she was taken back to her car and made it home safely.
