Mendocino College is about to move into the next phase of a plan to expand affordable student housing. The school says it will soon begin demolishing the old Dragon’s Lair at Perkins and Main Street. Demolition is projected to take approximately 30 days Official say it will be a carefully managed process designed to ensure public safety and minimize disruption to surrounding neighbors and businesses. Once the site prep is done, the college will work on the next phase–raising money for the project.
