North Coast tsunami drill set for next week, and officials want you to take it seriously. Residents in Humboldt, Del Norte and Mendocino counties are being asked to participate Wednesday at 11am. If you’re in a tsunami zone, that means actually walking your evacuation route to higher ground. There will also be test alerts on radio, TV and local systems to simulate a real event. Emergency officials say it’s all about making sure people know what to do before the real thing happens.
