A late-night standoff in Mendocino County had deputies on edge after reports of gunfire and a woman possibly in danger. Authorities say a man armed with a long gun barricaded himself inside a Longvale mobile home and refused to come out Thursday night. Deputies spent hours negotiating while more units and medics staged nearby just in case. The situation finally ended around 11:40pm, with two people detained and the home cleared, but no word yet on speficis of the standoff or charges the man will face.
