Lakeport city leaders are meeting Tuesday night with economic development and infrastructure on the agenda. Council members will consider backing a letter asking the governor’s office to designate parts of Lake County as Opportunity Zones to attract investment. They’ll also review a proposal to move $350,000 to design a new water main and fire suppression system along South Main Street and the Soda Bay Road corridor. The meeting starts at 6pm at City Hall and can also be attended online.
