Emergency responders rushed to help after a woman was reported trapped in a well on property north of Fort Bragg Wednesday. Reports say the 68-year-old was located in a well off Beal Lane and was complaining of chest pain when crews got there. First responders were able to pull her out safely. She was transported by ground ambulance to Mendocino Coast Hospital, where at last check officials said a REACH air ambulance was standing by if doctors decide it’s necessary. It’s still unclear how she ended up trapped in the well.
