The U.S. Department of Agriculture is seeking nominees for three openings on its Tribal Advisory Committee. The group helps advise the agriculture secretary on how federal programs impact tribal farming, forestry, food systems, and rural development. The committee has 11 members, and the new appointees will serve three-year terms beginning this spring. Candidates must be nominated by a federally recognized tribe or an organization that works with tribal communities. Nomination packets are due by March 31.
