Soup and community support will come together in Willits this weekend. Willits Shelter Action Group and Willits Daily Bread are hosting their annual “Sip Some Soup” fundraiser Saturday at 5pm at the City Hall Community Center. The event includes a soup tasting contest, silent auction, and plenty of homemade bread while raising money to help people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Tickets are $15 for adults, $25 per couple, and $5 for kids 12 and under. Organizers say it’s a chance to enjoy good food while helping neighbors in need.
