Community members in Clearlake are being invited to learn more about a planned expansion of the Hope Center. A public forum is set for Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30pm at the center on Emerson Street. Adventist Health Clear Lake recently secured $6.3 million in state funding to expand services that support people experiencing homelessness. The project will add 29 new beds and bring the facility’s capacity up to 50. Organizers say the meeting will give residents a chance to hear about the plan and ask questions.
