Animals at the Clearlake shelter will soon have greater access to veterinary care thanks to a new partnership. The Clearlake Animal Association, which recently assumed control of the city’s shelter, has teamed up with local veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Bennett. Bennett will serve as the shelter’s veterinarian of record, helping oversee medical care and treatment for animals. Shelter leaders say the move will improve health services and help animals receive faster care while waiting for adoption.
