
Local groups working to protect wildlife in Mendocino County can now apply for grant funding. The Fish and Game Commission has opened applications (March 1st) for its Fish and Wildlife Propagation Fund, which supports projects like habitat restoration, rehabilitation and education. The money comes from fish and wildlife-related fines collected in the county. Applications are due by 4 pm. April 3, and details can be found on the county’s website, MendocinoCounty.gov
