A new report says Lake County has some of the lowest median home prices in California. The State Association of Realtors says the median price statewide–half cost less, half cost more–was $823,00. The Lake County median was third in the state at $312,000. Only Lassen and Trinity Counties saw lower. A median-priced home in San Mateo County was the highest price–2 million. The Realtor’s group says sales were down by 10 percent from December. Mortgage rates, on average across the state, have dropped below 6 percent. Experts predict the housing market will remain stable, which they say should be good news for both buyers and sellers.
