A familiar face in Lake County education is stepping into a new leadership role in Kelseyville. Christian Villalobos has been appointed as a provisional school board member, filling the seat left open by longtime trustee Rick Winer. By acting within the required 60-day window, the district avoided the expense of holding a special election. Villalobos, who works in education and has children in the district, says he is eager to serve and encourage more community involvement in local schools.
