We’re learning more about a dramatic water rescue yesterday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol says a pickup was carried into Tomki Creek during heavy storm runoff, forcing two people to climb into the truck bed as the current surged around them. Rescue crews from several agencies used a raft to reach the stranded pair and bring them safely back to shore. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and officials say the truck will be removed once conditions are safer.
