Mendocino College is stepping up its healthcare training options with a new Vocational Nursing program. The school says the transition from Ukiah Adult School will make the path to becoming a nurse more affordable, with total costs estimated around $6,000. Leaders call it a direct investment in meeting the growing need for skilled healthcare workers in Mendocino and Lake counties. Applications are due by March 13, and the first class starts in August 2026.
