Mendocino County is asking residents to weigh in on a new evacuation route plan for East Ukiah. The proposal would add a secondary exit for several hillside neighborhoods, including Deerwood Estates and Vichy Springs. It’s still in the draft stage and will need environmental review before moving forward. A public meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Ukiah Bible Church on Arroyo Road.
