A Republican gubernatorial hopeful is bringing his campaign to Mendocino County later this week. Chad Bianco, who has served as Riverside County sheriff since 2019, is set for a Friday meet-and-greet in Redwood Valley focused on public safety, homelessness and immigration. The gathering, hosted by the Mendocino County Republicans, will take place at Barra of Mendocino. He is one of two dozen candidates running ahead of the June primary and the first to make a campaign appearance locally this year.
