There’s a free training opportunity for preschool and daycare staff in Lake County. Lake County Health Services is offering a virtual CATCH health session March 7 from 9 to 11 a.m., centered on simple ways to build more physical activity and better nutrition into early learning programs. The training is designed specifically for teachers and administrators working with young children. Health officials say the program is evidence-based and built to be practical for everyday classroom use.
