We’ll get a brief break from the wintry weather of the past few days before more lower-elevation snow this evening and yet another storm system moving ashore over the weekend. Ukiah saw snow this morning–check out our Facebook page to see how it looked— and school was called off in several districts, including Laytonville, Legett Valley, and Wilts, with all activities cancelled. The Leggett district says the weather DOESN’T mean a break from homework, though. Other schools are already closed for President’s week already. CHP says some roads may still be treacherous, especially in the Willits area, so be careful if you head out. You can get a live look at conditions on key roads on the CalTrans website–quickmap.dot.ca.gov.
