Students and staff in the Potter Valley School District are being told not to drink the tap water for now. Health officials say bottled or boiled water should be used as testing continues to determine what’s behind the water quality issue. The district is calling it a water emergency and warns untreated tap water could lead to stomach illness. Water is being provided at school and district offices, and families are asked to bring clean containers while crews work to fix the problem.
