We are in for some nasty weather over the next couple of days. What you’ll see depends on where you are. A winter storm watch remains in effect through Wednesday morning at elevations above 2500 feet in Mendocino and Lake Counties. Those areas could see total snow accumulations of up to 5 inches, with Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. There have already been reports of 8 inches of snow on Cobb Mountain, while some places are reporting hail this morning as well. Police are urging caution if you’re travelling. The higher you go, the more snow to expect. Not a great day to head for the mountains–some of the passes could see several FEET from this winter storm.
