Be careful at the beach between tonight and Saturday. The National Weather Service is
out with a sneaker wave warning starting at 10 tonight through early Saturday.The
warning says large, unexpected waves can sweep across the beach without warning,
sweeping people into the sea from rocks, jetties, and beaches. They say the wave can
crop up seemingly out of nowhere, even if the water looks calm. The advice is stay
farther back and don’t turn your back on the ocean.
