There’s a new name in the race for Mendocino County’s 3rd District Supervisor. Willits business owner Russell Green says he’s officially filed to run, promising a more responsive and tech-driven approach to local government. Green, who works in artificial intelligence, says he wants to cut red tape and modernize county systems to better serve inland communities like Willits, Laytonville and Covelo. The campaign kicks off as voters in the district prepare for this year’s election.
