The Laytonville Area Municipal Advisory Council is moving ahead with unfinished business at its next meeting later this month. Council members are set to vote on 2026 leadership roles and revisit proposed changes to how often and when meetings are held. Appointments to council committees are also expected to be discussed. A previously postponed item involving a proposed cannabis shop and a residential permitting referral is back on the agenda. Officials say the upcoming meeting will help set the council’s direction for the year.
