We’re learning more about some of the warehouse buildings going up on North State Street near Highway 101 just outside Ukiah. While they are outside the scope of the City of Ukiah’s permitting process, at the last Ukiah Planning Commission they came up for discussion. The Daily Journal cites Ukiah’s Chief Planning Manager as saying he is under the impression they include a warehouse, storage facility and distribution center for the U-Haul company. Another looks to be the size and layout of a typical Amazon distribution facility but that has not been confirmed by Amazon, other than a company spokesperson saying they look forward to future work with Ukiah.
