The Ukiah Animal Shelter has scheduled 3 high volume spay and neuter clinics this year. The shelter received funding from the Dogwood Animal Rescue, which allows the shelter to provide services through Animal Balance at a discounted rate. The first clinic is set for March 6th-8th. Appointments are required and being scheduled now. The appointments will cost $122, which also include vaccinations and microchipping. The shelter is also asking for donations to help pay for food and supplies to the staff at Animal Balance who are volunteering their skills and time, as well as for pet owners who cannot afford the fees.
