Governor Newsom has appointed a new judge of the Lake County Superior Court. John Langan has been a court commissioner in Lake County since 2019 and has spent most of legal career in Lake County, including as a deputy DA from 2001 to 2004 and as Senior deputy DA for 15 years after that. Newly appointed Judge Langan succeeds Judge Andrew Blum, who retired before the end of his term.
