Cleanup and recovery efforts continue in Clearlake following a massive sewage spill earlier this month. City officials and the Lake County Office of Emergency Services say coordinated testing and water support is expanding across the affected neighborhoods. More than 300 water samples have now been taken, and additional water tanks have been installed as crews work zone by zone. The spill released nearly three million gallons of sewage and impacted far more homes than first estimated. Officials say the focus remains on getting residents safely back to normal as quickly as possible.
