Families in Point Arena now have a new childcare option for their youngest kids. South Coast Day Care has opened the city’s first licensed toddler program, serving children starting at 18 months old. The new classroom was added after parents consistently said care for kids under two was their biggest need. Leaders say the goal is simple, to help working families stay in the workforce while keeping children close to home.
