If you’re willing to get cold for a cause, Lake County Special Olympics has an event coming up just for you. The 15th annual Polar Plunge is set for Saturday, Feburary 28, at the Buckingham HOA clubhouse and beach in Kelseyville. Organizers say the plunge is the program’s only fundraiser and helps support more than 40 local athletes throughout the year. You can join in on the plunge or help out by sponsoring someone brave enough to hit the cold water.
