For the first time since the massive sewage spill in Clearlake, Lake County has released detailed well testing numbers as cleanup efforts wind down. County officials say dozens of private wells were initially contaminated, but most are now testing clean after sanitization. A small number of wells still show contamination and will continue to be treated and monitored. Health officials say all safety advisories remain in effect until every affected well is confirmed safe.
