A man from Covelo wanted for six felonies by the U S Marshall’s service has been arrested after a burglary investigation. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s office says officers from several agencies executed what they call a high-risk search warrant at a home on Biggar Lane, where they found Kory Whipple. He was taken in without incident and is now being held at the county jail without bail. Deputies say their raid also turned up a large amount of stolen property that will be tagged as evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
