The race to replace Mendocino County Supervisor John Haschak is starting to take shape, and one familiar candidate is back. Willits resident Clay Romero has announced another run for the District 3 seat after falling short in 2022. He’s one of at least two candidates so far, with others likely to jump in before June. District 3 covers Covelo, Laytonville, and Willits, and the first round of voting happens in the June 2 primary.
