Lake County’s creative economy–the focus of a meeting in Lakeport. The California Arts Council will host The Creative Economy Town Hall on Tuesday from 1 to 4 at the Soper-Rese theater. It’s one of a series of statewide events to get input from artists, cultural workers, and leaders to work on California’s first Creative Economy Strategic Plan. That plan could include workforce, business stability, cultural tourism, and economic recovery through arts and culture. Organizers say input from town halls like this will shape how the arts and culture can put California at the front of the creative economy.
