California has been ranked as the state with the best food in the country. A new survey by Talker Research, conducted for HelloFresh, placed California first for overall cuisine, followed by New York, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. The poll of 5,000 Americans also asked people to name the most iconic foods from their home state. Californians pointed to Mexican food, burgers, and shrimp tacos as the dishes that best represent the Golden State.
