Artists and cultural leaders in Lake County will have a chance to shape the state’s creative future this afternoon in Lakeport. The California Arts Council is holding a Creative Economy Town Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Soper-Reese Theatre. The discussion is part of a statewide listening tour aimed at building California’s first Creative Economy Strategic Plan. Organizers say community input will help guide how arts and culture can drive jobs, tourism, and economic recovery statewide.
