LGBT Memorial Fund opening scholarship applications for students in Mendocino County

The Rykken and Scull LGBT Memorial Fund is opening scholarship applications for students in Mendocino County. The program is managed by Positive Images and supports students heading to college, trade school, or art programs who have actively supported the LGBTQ community. Organizers say applicants do not need to identify as LGBTQ, but they must show real involvement in advocacy or community efforts. Applications are due by March 31.
