A late-night police stop ends quietly after officers track down a stolen vehicle in Mendocino County. The California Highway Patrol says the car, reported stolen out of Santa Rosa, was followed along Highway 162 Wednesday nifght before officers moved in near Dos Rios. Three people were detained without incident, and authorities say the driver was cooperative throughout the stop. The driver was cited and released, and all three were later dropped off in the Willits area.
