Willits police want parents and guardians to know about local curfew laws. They report several recent after-hours crimes involving unaccompanied minors–petty crimes and malicious mischief, and the like. City law says teens between 16 and 18 are subject to a curfew between 11 PM and 5 AM. Those under 16 have to be in by 10. Police say the goal is to educate the community, reminding adults with minors under their care can be held accountable for curfew violations.
